Forged in Hiroshima, Japan
The Mizuno JPX 923 Forged iron is manufactured using a one-piece Grain Flow Forged processed from 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel at Mizuno's iconic facility in Hiroshima, Japan – where Mizuno irons have been produced since 1968.
3RD Gen Chromoly Forging with Wider Microslot (4-7 Irons)
Forged from a single billet of 4120 Chromoly and back milled from to heel and toe, creating extreme ball speeds from a compact workable profile. The face thickness is now reduced to just 2.2 mm behind impact (vs 2.6mm JPX921Forged).
New V-Chassis
The new V-Chassis provides a more solid dense feel at impact with a thinner topline appearance, engineered via Mizuno’s ‘Harmonic Impact Technology’. Prior models required a slightly thicker topline to maintain more feel.
Player Enhanced
The irons are suited to pro and mid-handicapper golfers. Featuring 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel in the 8-GW irons for the ultimate in precision and control, and feel. Designed with a mid-size cavity, noticeably shorter blade length in the scoring irons, and more bevelling to the trailing edge for immaculate turf interaction.
Complete with a white-satin brush finish, a non-reflective, chrome-plated finish to reduce bright light glare.
“The new JPX923 Forged pulls off 2 impressive achievements. First, it feels more solid even though it’s faster from the face. Second, it looks sleeker with a thinner topline and narrower sole even though it plays more forgiving.” CHRIS VOSHALL - Director of Product.
