The G425 Max offers the highest MOI levels in history, to produce the most forgiveness in a driver.
The PING Driver Features:
-
Increased MOI (moment of inertia)
-
T9S+ Forged Face
-
Ti-8-1-1 Body / Turbulator Technology
-
1-Year Guarantee / Lamkin Crossline
Increased MOI (moment of inertia)
PING engineers developed the G425 with combined technologies from the G400 Max and G410 Plus drivers. But to achieve new performance levels PING elevated the MOI level by up to 14%, utilizing a 26-gram high-density tungsten back weight. This weight can be positioned in 3 distinctive settings (draw/neutral/fade) over a smaller area, to shift the center of gravity lower and further back without sacrificing any other performance attributes.
T9S+ Forged Face
This thinner face delivers high ball speed, thanks to a unique heat-treating process that delivers a higher-strength face area. This surface is precision machined for maximum flexing, to deliver more distance all the way across the face area.
Ti-8-1-1 Body / Turbulator Technology
This driver features a Ti 811 ultra-thin crown with advanced Internal Dragonfly Technology which improves weight savings. The weight saved in this construction increases the MOI for more forgiveness and distance than ever before.
The shape of the crown and Turbulators has been re-designed for better airflow efficiency, to reduce aerodynamic drag. These bold crown Turbulators allow increased airflow for more clubhead speed, plus provides better alignment at the address point position.
Adjustability
The hosel on the driver has five loft and lie adjustments to fine-tune trajectory, +-1.5⁰ (0, +1⁰, +1.5⁰, -1⁰, -1.5⁰ loft adjustments, and up to 3⁰ flatter.
