Fresh out of The Oven, Nike Golf's research and development facility, the Nike Golf Vapor Speed Ladies Driver has the largest and most stable chassis of the new Vapor drivers. Black on the crown with the distinctive volt in the cavity back and Compression Channel, the Vapor Speed driver promotes a higher launch angle with lower spin.

Nike Golf Vapor Speed Ladies Driver Design

The Nike Golf Vapor Speed Ladies Driver blends three key technologies: Nike’s new FlyBeam-reinforced Covert Cavity Back design, a re-engineered Compression Channel and FlexLoft 2. FlyBeams drive frequecny tuned compliance into the compression channel. The new channel enhances the trampoline effect observed on the NexCOR face with a springboard design that accentuates ball speed on hits struck across the entire face. The end result is better sound, feel, consistency and distance. The chassis of the Vapor Speed has also been re-engineered by sloping the crown more from face to the back, and creating a deeper face. This moves the centre of gravity projection toward the centre of the face and significantly reduces spin to launch ratio versus the Covert 2.0.

FlexLoft 2 Technology

FlexLoft 2 in the Nike Golf Vapor Speed Ladies Driver provides the functionality of five lofts and three face angles within 15 different settings to help dial in your ball lfight. The new, improved system is five grams (30 percent) lighter without compromising function. The redistribution of mass creates more stability, better launch conditions and faster swing speeds. Another benefit of FlexLoft 2 is its forward and backward compatibility. Golfers with previous generations of Covert can use shafts with the original adaptor in the new head or vice versa.

Mitsubishi Rayon Fubuki Z 50 Graphite Shaft

The Nike Golf Vapor Speed Ladies Driver features a Mitsubishi Rayon Fubuki Z 50 graphite shaft. This excellent shaft provides stability in the mid and butt sections with a tip section that is designed to promote a slightly higher launch, while maintaining the same low spin. The Fubuki Z profile also features progressive torque and a more standard balance point - making it a very versatile shaft designed to fit a wide range of players and abilities.
